Zachary George Metivier was born on May 27, 2005 at 30 weeks along with his twin brother in an emergency c-section. When he was first born the doctors did not think that there was much that they could do for him. He proved them wrong. He was the second smallest baby to have the bi-directional glenn and the smallest to survive. The majority of his short 16 months and 20 days here on Earth with us was spent in the hospital. |
In Loving Remembrance from Zach's Mum Krista & Family
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. |
He would only come home for a few days before he was re-admitted. He endured 3 open heart surgeries, 2 medflights, 2 cardiac arrests, numerous gj-tube placements, and numerous cardiac caths. Through it all he kept a smile on his face. On October 17, 2006 he earned his wings and made his trip back to heaven to be with God. I know that he will be waiting for me when my time comes and he will have that same amazing smile on his face. |
